Green Pastures Permaculture is a Christian regenerative land design and education nonprofit serving the Ouachita region. We design properties that produce real food, restore degraded land, and stand the test of generations. We teach the principles on our own working land.

From a single-acre homestead to a 500-acre ranch, every productive property starts with a sound design. We use LandScope design software and on-the-ground site assessment to build master plans, water management plans, food forest layouts, grazing systems, and homestead infrastructure designs that fit your land, your budget, and your timeline. Work is grounded in engineering rigor, not guesswork.
Green Pastures Permaculture is built first as an educational nonprofit. We teach landowners, families, and small farmers across the Ouachita region how to design regenerative properties, restore degraded land, and steward the soil for generations. Education runs from free YouTube content and PDF guides through hands-on workshops, online courses, group mentorship, and an annual Regenerative Land Design Certificate program.

Your land's health and your family's health are the same project. As a certified nutritionist with over fifteen years of growing real food, Mitchell Alliston works with individuals and families who want to use food as medicine, address chronic conditions through nutrition, and build household food systems that support genuine vitality. Sessions in-person or by video.

Water is the master resource on every property. We build watershed and water management plans for properties from five acres to several hundred acres, using LandScope design software combined with on-the-ground hydrology assessment. Deliverables include water flow analysis, swale and pond placement, infiltration design, and contractor-ready earthworks specifications.

Every productive landscape begins with a design that respects what the land already wants to do. We build full property master plans for landowners across a 200-mile radius from Gravelly, Arkansas, integrating water, soil, perennial systems, animals, infrastructure, and dwellings into a single coordinated design. Concept-level designs start at $1,500. Master plans from $4,500 to $25,000.

A regenerative farm has to make money to stay regenerative. We work with farm and homestead operators who want to build profitable enterprises around healthier products, value-added processing, direct-to-consumer channels, and scalable infrastructure. Engagements range from a single strategy session to multi-month enterprise planning. Hourly rate $150 to $250. Strategy packages start at $1,800.
